Item of the Month: February

Okaaaaay! :)

I know we didn't do an announcement in church this week but we will be doing one next week! :)

Anyway, we had someone ask us what the items of the month are for the Operation Christmas Child project....so, here they are!

• stickers: Who doesn't like stickers?!?!? 

 

•  toys: Yup, February = Valentine's Day and you know what that means...SALES! Valentine's Day party favors usually have several of each item, which can be used for several boxes...

• pencils: Yes, this will be stressed more in August (Back to School sales!), but some places have packs of really cute pencils for $1...

• little stuffed animals: What do you think of when you hear "Valentine's Day"? Hearts, love, stuffed bears holding hearts, cute little beanie babies? 

 There's a collecting box in the foyer for any items, not just the items of the month. If you have anything else you want to donate, don't hesitate to bring it!!! :)

Just remember, no used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures; chocolate or food; out-of-date candy; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans. Thanks!!!!
